137 schools around Fiji have been partly damaged by tropical cyclone Evan.
Fiji Village reports this is according to Education Ministry Permanent Secretary Dr Brij Lal who says this will cost government about 2.8 million US dollars.
Dr Lal says they are still gathering more information on affected schools but he is assuring people that repairs will be completed before the new school year begins.
