A United States Coast Guard crew has found three fishermen who had been missing of Tarawa in Kiribati.
The aircrew located the 16-foot, white and blue skiff on radar about 160 kilometres from the atoll.
The Hercules crew dropped a canister filled with food, water, a radio and an Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon.
The South Korean fishing vessel Universe Kim proceeded to the survivors' location and brought all three mariners and their skiff aboard.
The mariners were reported to be in good condition and with no medical concerns.
