Tuvalu has formalised a decision to remove all Iranian-linked ships from its Singapore registry.
In a statement the Registrar of Ships says at the time the National Iranian Tanker Company vessels were registered, the Tuvalu Ship Registry was not aware of the international sanctions against Iran.
Uale Sinapati warns any person or company presented with documents issued by Tuvalu belonging to any of the NITC vessels not to accept them as they have been struck off the register.
