The Solomon Islands Parliament has passed the Government's supplementary budget.
It includes more than 35 million US dollars for development and recurrent expenditure for the remainder of the 2012 fiscal year.
This includes an additional 6 point 5 million US dollars to support students studying overseas.
The Festival of the Pacific Arts, recently hosted by Solomons Islands, is also expected to get an additional appropriation of over 7 million dollars.
