Four Papua New Guinea Defence officers are to become United Nations peace keepers in Sudan and South Sudan.
The Post Courier reports the Defence Minister, Dr Fabian Pok, saying the government views the ongoing contributions of the PNGDF to the UN with a sense of responsibility and pride.
The PNGDF's commander, Brigadier Francis Agwi says it is a reflection on the strategic-level work being successfully undertaken by the force.
