The Solomon Islands parliament is to meet for the first time this year from September the 14th.
The Prime Minister Gordon Darcy Lilo made the announcement after consulting with the Attorney General, with MPs directed to travel to Honiara for the meeting.
Our corrrespondent reports that an opposition MP who does not want to be named, saying Mr Lilo is likely to face a no confidence motion.
Mr Lilo did not attend recent regional meetings saying he needed to concentrate on domestic issues.
