Director of medical affairs at CNMI hospital resigns, after four months in job

The director of medical affairs for the Commonwealth Health Centre in the Northern Marianas has stepped down, after barely four months in the job.

Dr Jeremy Richards, who is one of the hospital's psychiatrists, says he has yet to submit a formal letter of resignation but it was announced at a board meeting last Friday.

Dr Richards is the fourth person to hold the job in the last few months. The first three resigned from the CHC.

Since last year, the public hospital has recorded a fast turnover rate in its director of medical affairs position.

Meantime, hospital employees received their promised payroll last Friday including personnel allotments.
