The Northern Marianas will increase class sizes at its college to save money.
The president of the Northern Marianas College, Sharon Hart, says for many years it has been operating at a loss, mainly because it allowed smaller class sizes.
Ms Hart says to counter this, the College will no longer offer courses with fewer than 20 students.
This new policy takes effect this northern summer.
