The Fiji sevens coach Alifereti Dere says adjusting to the cold weather of Glasgow has been an issue but training has gone well ahead of pool play at the IRB World series event in Scotland.

Fiji trail series leader New Zealand by six points heading into this weekend's penultimate round.

Dere says in this series Fiji has tried to change the way it plays, by getting back to the way they use play, different to other teams.

Meanwhile, captain Setefano Cakau says he has reminded his team about their season objective.

"It's going to be for us to work together as a team. Its a big task for us but we have to work hard and get what we were aiming for from the start of this tournament."
