Fiji health official attacked during inspection

Three people have been arrested in Fiji for allegedly attacking a health official in Nadi while carrying out inspection at a resort.

The official was taken to hospital on Sunday night.

Fiji Village reports the three have been charged with assault and will appear in court today.

Meanwhile, the hunt continues for three suspects who allegedly stabbed a man at Victoria Parade in Suva on Sunday morning.

Police are also yet to identify the body of a middle aged male that was found floating in the Waimanu river near Corbet Avenue along Princes road last Thursday.

Police are seeking assistance from members of the public regarding any information they may have.
