PNG to conduct TB forum, first ever

8:26 am on 24 March 2012

Papua New Guinea is to conduct its first ever tuberculosis forum today in Port Moresby.

The theme for the meeting is that no-one should die from TB and calls on people to help stop the disease.

The forum will be attended by provincial health advisors from across the country and hosted by the Minister for Health and HIV AIDS Jamie Maxtone- Graham.

The Post Courier newspaper says the gathering is designed to enable the provincial and national levels of the Health Department to make long term commitments to TB control.
