The Samoa Victim Support Group is expanding to American Samoa and Australia.

Its President, Lina Chang, has just returned from a meeting in Sydney where discussions were held for the expansion of their services there.

The Sydney branch of the organisation are expected to visit Samoa in May.

Meanwhile a group from American Samoa are now in Apia to finalise plans for the launch of their branch in Pago Pago during the American Samoa Flag Day celebrations next month.

Ms Chang says the group is happy with the expansion which would mean a wider support base for the work of the organisation.

She says the group has made a difference, and young people, the church and the community are coming together to support it.
