Tuvalu has established diplomatic ties with Armenia after representatives of the two countries at the United Nations signed a joint statement at the UN Headquarters in New York.
Armenian news agencies report that the two countries wish to develop bilateral relations and foster deepening of cooperation within the UN framework and other global organisations.
