The Crusader Knights and Highlanders Development team picked up their first wins of the Pacific Rugby Cup last night in two high-scoring encounters.

The Crusader Knights thrashed Tonga A 58-6 in Christchurch to bounce back from last week's defeat by Fiji Warriors.

The Highlanders Development side held off Samoa A 39-27 in an entertaining match in Dunedin.

Fiji Warriors lead the competition standings after five rounds and will complete their New Zealand schedule tomorrow against the Chiefs Development team in Te Kuiti.

Samoa A and Tonga A play their finals games on Monday, with the Pacific Series to take place later this year.
