Fiji's Land Force Commander, Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga, says the military will not have a special role in the constitution consultation process.

FijiLive reports Colonel Tikoitoga says everyone will play an equal role in the constitution consultations process.

He says he doesn't see any reason why the military has to play a special role.

He said the military will stand by and support the interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama totally in whatever decisions he makes about the country.
