A US air force F-16 fighter jet has crashed at the Saipan International Airport in the Northern Marianas.
Our correspondent says details are still sketchy but the pilot was reportedly able to eject from the plane before it crashed.
There were no other reports of injuries or fatalities.
The plane reportedly crashed on runway 7 of the Saipan airport.
