A passenger-screening programme to enable travelers to pass through security quicker is expanding to 28 more cities, including Honolulu in Hawaii.

The Maui Weekly reports the new programme comes at no additional cost, but will allow passengers to pass through security without having to remove shoes or belts.

The U.S. Transportation Security Administration's programme has already been implemented at seven other airports.
