The New Zealand Foreign Minister Murray McCully is travelling to the Cook Islands for discussions on this year's Pacific Islands Forum Leaders' meeting.
The Cook Islands is to host the meeting in Rarotonga in August, with the leaders' retreat to be held on Aitutaki.
Mr McCully says he will also be visiting some of the projects the New Zealand Aid Programme is funding in the Cook Islands.
