Four men charged with the armed robbery of an ASCO gas station in the Tongan capital of Nuku'alofa have been refused bail.
At the beginning of the year, the station on Fatafehi Road was held-up, and the 53 year old manager shot in the leg.
Radio Tonga reports that police say one of the four men has been charged with an extra offence, that of attempted murder.
The men will remain in police custody until March 7th when a preliminary hearing is planned.
