The tropical depression is currently causing heavy rainfall throughout Vanuatu.
In an advisory issued late last night, Vanuatu's metservice said a Marine Gale wind warning is current for all coastal waters of Vanuatu.
It says a severe weather warning for heavy rainfall, flooding and strong inland winds is also in place.
