Villagers of Tukaraki in Fiji are pleading with the government to help relocate their village, following the landslide which killed a family of four this week.

FBC news reports the Nalotawa village headman Moape Drikalu as saying the village is vulnerable to landslides.

He says luckily there was no major incident in Rara village, which is nearby, after a landslide also struck that area.

Moape Drikali adds landslides also occurred in most of the nearby villages.
