East Asia Pacific have lost their final match at the Australian Country Cricket Championships, finishing 72 runs adrift of New South Wales Country.

Having won three of their first five matches the composite team lost both one day games, with Vani Morea top-scoring yesterday with 37.

NSW made 258 for 6 from their 50 overs, with the visitors losing openers Tony Ura and Chris Amini with only single figures on the board.

Wickets continued to fall at regular intervals with Patrick Matautava the last man out in the 44th over.
