Indonesia's West Papua province will play host to the 2012 World Physics Olympiad.
The Jakarta Post reports that the announcement was made by the Olympiad's organising committee following the conclusion this week of the inaugural WoPhO event in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara.
The Mantaram Olympiad hosted 142 student participants from 15 countries, including Turkey, China, Germany, Russia, Poland and Brazil.
