The three Fijian professional boxers who competed in last night's annual Samoa ProAm fight lost to the Samoan fighters, with two of the Fijians defeated in knock outs.
Meli Vutevute was knocked out in the fifth round by Iosia Nanai in the super-middle weight bout, while Warren Fuiava of Samoa knocked out Josefa Vaileba in the light-heavy weight match in the third round.
Pele Faumui has won in points against Abhay Chand of Fiji in the middle weight bout.
A Pacific boxing rim tournament will be started next year for professional boxers from Fiji, New Caledonia, Tahiti, New Zealand and Samoa to compete.
