The African, Carribean and Pacific group of nations says conditions on foreign aid should be lifted.

The 79-member ACP, which receives aid from the European Union, includes 15 Pacific Island nations.

Its secretary general, Dr Mohamed Ibn Chambass, has told the High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness being held in Busan in South Korea, that they want more reliable and transparent information on aid contributions.

He says the ACP also urges improved and better coordination among donors as well as partner countries.
