The Fiji interim government is looking at privatising more state-owned enterprises.

The Public Enterprises Permanent Secretary Elizabeth Powell has told the Fijivillage website that businesses, such as Food Processors, Fiji Meats Industry Board and Rewa Rice are in the process of being privatised.

She says they are looking at privatising as many state-owned enterprises as possible.

With the budget set to be announced this Friday, Ms Powell added the ministry hopes to continuously increase its contribution to the government.
