A German traveller in Vanuatu claims to have broken a world record by driving his car through 210 countries.
Gunther Holtorf says in 22 years, he has covered 800,000 kilometres.
He has told the Daily Post, that as a former pilot who always flew over Africa he made a promise to one day cover the area on the ground.
Mr Holtorf says it was the experience in Africa encouraged him to drive his Mercedes vehicle right round the world.
He is currently with his son on the island of Efate.
