Five containers of nonu juice amounting to 120-thousand litres is scheduled to leave Samoa for China early next week.

The shipment will be the first export of nonu juice by Pure Pacifika Samoa Limited under a contract to supply the product to the market in China up to 2013.

All of the juice allocated for the order came from fruit collected in Savai'i Island since May.

After the initial container load, shipments will be monthly as the company faces a seemingly tough target to supply a total of 800-thousand litres to its customer by December.

With three months left to reach the target, ten containers of juice have to be sent each month after the initial shipment.
