U.S. court officials and the lawyer for American Samoan, Simeti Lualemaga, have reached agreement on what restitution he'll pay for an assault on a federal official in Pago Pago.

Lualemaga was sentenced last month to 5 years jail for the machete attack on Mark Cunningham, the former station chief of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in Pago Pago.

The federal court in Honolulu says both sides have agreed Lualemana will pay just over 6 thousand US dollars in restitution to Mr Cunningham.
