Only New Zealand and Australian players remain after the opening round of the Oceania Closed Junior Tennis Championships in Lautoka, Fiji.

Top seed Jaden Grinter safely progressed to the last sixteen with a straight sets win over Rhys Michael Johnson.

He'll face Robert Allen in the second round, who accounted for Rafael Jones of the Northern Marianas.

Chris Sami from American Samoa was also bundled out by third-seeded Aussie James Frawley while home-town home Chris Hargrove went down in straight sets also.
