Sport: Polomalu football camp ends in American Samoa

10:31 am on 1 July 2011

A three-day football camp run by NFL star Troy Polamalu ends in American Samoa today.

The camp, which is run by the Pittsburgh Steelers safety's foundation, also features a number of other leading NFL players and coaches.

It's part of a week long visit by Polamalu to American Samoa.

One of the camps participants, Tafuna high school quarterback Tanielu Fereti, says he's still pinching himself after getting to work with the former Oakland Raiders quarterback Marques Tuiasosopo.

"I can't believe an NFL quarterback teaches. He was great - many things I learned yesterday: the way you throw the ball and your footwork."

Troy Polamalu has been in American Samoa since Monday local time and flies back to the US at the start of next week.
