Sport: Top four seeds stay true to form in New Caledonia

The top four seeds are safely through to the boys semi finals of the Junior South Pacific Tennis Open in New Caledonia.

Australia's top seed Jay Andrijic eased past local hope Louis Le Roux 6-3 6-3,

second seed Chester Espie thumped Rhys Beccaris one and one, Hong Kong's Andy Lau needed three sets to get past Alex Hunt while Australia's Nicholas Horton ended the run of Brit Rhett Purcell.

In the girls draw, second seed Marcia Tere-Apisah of Papua New Guinea had no troubles against New Zealander Bridget Liddell, whose compatriots Louise Oxnevad and Danielle Feneridis had better luck.

The final qualifier was Hong Kong's Wai Kei Vickie Ip.
