Eight new cases of Dengue fever in Fiji

Eight cases of dengue fever have reported by Fiji's Health Ministry in the past few days.

A ministry spokesman, Peni Namotu, says the cases have been reported in the Province of Macuata.

Fiji Villages reports Mr Namotu as saying preventive measures should be taken to destroy mosquito breeding places.

People should also seek medical advice as soon as possible if they develop symptoms of body pains, fatigue and fever.
