Police in Samoa have launched a neighborhood watch programme in a residential area that's seen a marked increase in burglary and violence.
The police say they are urging families to work together in Vaitele fou to provide security for their houses and belongings.
As part of the scheme freehold houses in the locality have been numbered to help police apprehend suspects.
