Two new caps have been included in Fiji's squad for the East Asia Pacific Division 1 cricket tournament in July.

Australian-based quick Tasheed Tawheed and Nadi allrounder Vilikesa Driu will make their first appearances for Fiji at the Twenty20 tournament in Papua New Guinea.

Tawheed plays grade cricket in Sydney and only gained Fijian citizenship in the last 12 months, while Driu has impressed selectors at a range of local tournaments.

Jo Rika will once again captain the side while Mohammed Imran Khan makes his returns to the team for the first time in six years.

The 27 year-old teacher is currently living in California, and was recently named the western region player of the year in the USA.

Waisake Tukaha and bowler Kitione Tavo have forced their way back into after three year absences, while Jikoi Kida, who has just returned from an army posting in Sinai has also been selected.
