The Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation is worried an increasing number of skilled people are moving overseas.

The FijiVillage website says the Federation's Chief Executive Officer Nesbitt Hazelman is calling on businesses to review their options and to offer better incentives to retain their senior and experienced staff.

This follows a report by the Reserve Bank of Fiji which shows a 3.6 percent increase in job advertisements for April.

Mr Hazelmann told FijiVillage it is indicative of the number of people moving abroad for work.

He says labour retention is an issue that needs to be addressed and is calling for incentives including wage increases and potential heath benefits.
