A meeting of Pacific Heads of Intellectual Property in Papua New Guinea concludes discussions today on developing a regional trademark system.

The meeting is hosted by the Investment Promotion Authority and the Intellectual Property Office in partnership with the Pacific Island Forum Countries and the Australian Government.

The Post Courier reports discussions are structured around last year's Memorandum of Understanding between Forum Trade Ministers at a Ministerial meeting.
