Short turnaround proving challenging for Pacific Rugby Cup sides

Battered bodies are beginning to catch up with sides competing in the Pacific Rugby Cup.

Samoa A , Tonga A and Fiji Warriors will play their fifth match in less than three weeks tonight, with another still looming on Monday.

Fiji Warriors play the Chiefs Development team on Wednesday night and head coach, Sam Domoni, believes the first round of New Zealand results would have been better if they'd had more time to recover and less travel.

"If we were given enough time to recouperate, rest and the travel period wasn't that much I believe it would have been a different story altogether. You see coming from a good resting period and good training we were able to beat Queensland and New South Wales and against the Brumbies we only lost in the dying minute."

Wednesday's other matches see Tonga A take on the Hurricanes Development side while Samoa A play the Crusader Knights
