Tautua Samoa party leader keen to maintain unity within caucus

The leader of the opposition Tautua Samoa party says maintaining unity within the caucus will be the challenge for the next five years.

Tautua won 13 seats in opposition, enough to be recognised as an official party in the legislature.

Va'ai Papu Vaipule, says past oppositions have fallen apart, because they've been made up of several parties and independents.

"The unity of the party is we will all try and give out the facts and the reasons, because that is very good for the people to hear, because all these things can be done."

Va'ai Papu Vaipule says he's not worried about the official count of his own seat, which he only won by 25 votes, because he believes he will have support in the special votes.
