A team of independent experts is in Solomon Islands to review the partnership framework between the Regional Assistance Mission and the Solomons' government.

The team comprises Sue Emmott, an Australian post-conflict development specialist, and political scientists, Manuhuia Barcham from New Zealand, and Solomon Islander Tarcissius Tara Kabutaulaka, who's at the University of Hawaii.

RAMSI's deputy special co-ordinator, Justin Fepulea' i says the team is here to examine the work of RAMSI in relation to the three pillars it wasmandated to fulfil - law and order, economic governance and machinery of government.

He says it's important for the people of Solomon Islands to know what RAMSI has achieved to date.
