Fiji Methodists consider tourism investment

The Methodist Church in Fiji is looking at investing in the tourism industry in the Yasawa group of islands.

The Church's Assistant General Secretary, the Reverend Tevita Nawadra, has told FBC News that they have plans to utilise some of their land for tourism purposes.

The Reverend Nawadra says the church believes that tourism is a viable business from which it can get better returns.

However, he says the church will not rush into it as a lot of money will be needed for the work.
