The Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League has deferred holding its Annual General Meeting until the end of January.

A meeting had been signalled to take place in Lae on Sunday however the PNGRFL Chairman John Numapo says that announcement was incorrect and unconstitutional.

He says in any respect a number of leagues had not completed their reports, which are required under the constitution to be delivered no later than seven days before the AGM.

Numapo, who earlier this month described 2010 as 'nothing short of disastrous' for the sport in PNG, says because not all parties are reaqdy the AGM has been deferred until January 30th.
