Former Manu Samoa coach Lepale Niko is suing the Samoa Rugby Union for more than $US30,000 for breach of contract and personal damages.
The suit follows unsuccessful mediation talks between Lepale and the Samoa Rugby Union.
Lepale was sacked when the SRU decided in January of last year to dissolve the Manu Samoa coaching structure and re-advertise positions.
Lepale told the Samoa Observer the two parties have failed to settle their differences and says he will live with whatever the court decides.
The Samoa rugby union Chief Executive, Su'a Peter Schuster, declined to comment.
A hearing is set for November the 18th in the Supreme Court.
