Hawaiian Air shifts Sunday's Pago Pago flight

7:14 pm on 4 November 2010

Hawaiian Airlines is adjusting its twice-weekly Pago Pago-Honolulu service schedule starting next January to accommodate the wishes of American Samoa residents who preferred not to fly on Sundays.

Hawaiian currently operates on Thursdays and Sundays but effective January 17th the Sunday flight will operate on Mondays and will operate during the current night time flight schedule.

An airline spokesman, Keoni Wagner, says customers in American Samoa prefer not to travel on Sunday and the carrier has found an opportunity to make the change with the recent fleet scheduling adjustments.
