Papua New Guinea's defending champion Ryan Pini has qualified for the final of the 100 metre butterfly at the Delhi Commonwealth Games.
Pini was third fastest in the first semi-final, finishing behind Kenya's Jason Dunford and Australia's Christopher Wright in a time of 53.12 seconds.
He is the fifth fastest qualifier for the final, where he will have the chance to defend the title he won in Melbourne four years ago.
Another Australian, Geoffrey Huegill, won the second semi-final.
