Papua New Guinea has named their squad to play an Australian Prime Minister's 13 in their annual rugby league clash in Port Moresby on Sunday.

Nine overseas based players have been selected in the squad, which will be captained by Cronulla Sharks hooker Paul Aiton, with Rodney Pora named as vice captain.

Among the other players named are Gold Coast Titans Under 20s player Ryan Tongia and Penrith Panthers second rower James Nightingale.

The match will be new coach Stanley Gene's first in charge of the Kumuls, after he replaced Adrian Lam who quit last week.
