The start of the latest round of the ASP world surfing tour, Billabong Pro at Teahupoo, has been halted for the fourth straight day with a lack of waves forcing surfers to stay idle.
The event was due to get underway at the beginning of the weak but organisers say with a total of 12 days to get four days of surfing completed they're not worried about the event being squeezed for time.
The Australian surfer, Adam Melling, says while it's frustrating not being able to get out there and compete, he's nervous about the eventual prospect of facing Tahiti's notorious big waves.
