Two local employees of the National Park of American Samoa will assist in the U.S. Government's efforts to assess and recover from the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
Dr Peter Craig and Lauao To'o will provide their expertise in marine science and administration.
The National Park of American Samoa staff gained disaster experience working with the US Federal Emergency Management Agency and other agencies during the 2009 tsunami event.
