Police in Fiji says they will not hesitate to take action against those that don't abide by the recently implemented Media Decree.

A spokesperson, Ema Dimila, told Fiji Broadcasting the Decree should be followed precisely

The comments came after the questioning of Fiji Live News Editor, Richard Naidu, over a story that was published by the online news agency.

He was reported to have been taken in last Friday by the Criminal Investigations Department.

He was held overnight and released on Saturday.
