Owners of Lagoon Resort at Fiji's Pacific Harbour locked out

The owners of the Lagoon Resort at Fiji's Pacific Harbour have vacated the resort after being locked out.

The resort's at the middle of a dispute between the owners and the Fiji Development Bank.

Owner Jim Sherlock told the Fiji Times paper they'd take action against the Bank for their losses from the closure of the property saying they'd just finished external improvements.

But the Development Bank said it was forced to close it.

Its acting CEO Nafitalai Cakacaka says there were pending transactions between the resort and the bank that had been ongoing and disagreements on the time-shares.
